Process
Our cattle are currently raised on the family farm that has been in the Kornegay family for over 4 generations. Although the land was previously only used differently, we have slowly been turning a portion of the land into a regenerative source for our cattle. Regenerative farming allows both the animals and the land to serve each other, free of pesticides and unnecessary tilling and loss of valuable topsoil.
Our cattle are frequently rotated from different pastures allowing other parts of the land to “rest” and giving our animals lots quality grassland to graze on, at their own pace.
We believe that giving our cattle the best nutrients will produce the best quality meats. All of our cattle graze at their own pace. We have worked closely with a cattle nutritionist, to create a free choice feed that is high in nutrition free of GMO and added hormones, and gives our meat a superb flavoring.
Once our steers are ready, they are taken to a local family owned Texas butcher, where they are processed at a USDA inspected facility, the meat is then aged for 14 days then frozen and ready to be shipped to your door.
